4 Sweet Treats to Stay Hydrated This Summer

Like you, we’ve all got a bit of a sweet tooth, so we compiled a list of ideas to combine our guilty pleasures with a healthy lifestyle! Of course, nothing beats water when it comes to light drinks, but we thought we might give you a few ideas for some sweet treats that will help you stay hydrated all day long:

1. Frozen Delight: We all love ice cream, but it’s not exactly the best when it comes to eating healthy. Get the same scrumptious taste without all the sugar and fat with your favourite sorbets and ice pops! For reference:

  • 1 ice pop = 35 Kcal
  • 2 balls of lemon sorbet = 70 Kcal
  • 2 balls of vanilla ice cream = 120 Kcal

2. Zesty Daiquiri: What better way to kick off a fun evening than with a tasty cocktail? We put our own spin on the evergreen daiquiri by using our very own Naya Zest flavoured water, which packs a delicious taste with zero calories! Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 3 oz strawberries
  • 1.5 oz white rum
  • 1 oz Lemon-lime Naya Zest water
  • 0.5 oz simple syrup

Rim your glass with sugar and garnish with a strawberry to give your drink the extra sweetness it needs to keep you going all evening!

3. Summer Melon: The melon is our go-to fruit for the summer months when it comes to combining tasty and healthy. Rich in antioxidants, high in carotene, and diuretic to boot, you really can’t go wrong with snacking on melon! Let’s not forget its cousin, the watermelon, which will keep you hydrated on those hot summer days. For reference:

  • 100g of melon = 48 Kcal
  • 100g of watermelon = 30 Kcal

4. Smooth Criminal: Feel like breaking the rules and indulging in your guilty pleasures? Look no further than smoothies: packed with vitamins and fibre, they’re the ultimate sweet treats for the summer! The best part: you can make them with anything you want! Simply pack all your ingredients into a blender and add your favourite Naya Zest flavoured water, and you’re good to go for a delectable yet somehow supremely healthy snack. There are so many great recipes to choose from, so for a bit of inspiration, here’s our favourite:

  • 2 peaches
  • 10 raspberries
  • 3/4 cup Naya Zest Peach-Nectarine
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons honey
