1986<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Mirabel plant opens, and Naya spring water is introduced to the market. The name Naya comes from the word \u201cnaiads\u201d \u2014 in mythology, naiads are water nymphs who guard rivers, fountains and springs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1995<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A historic year for Quebec and for Naya. While Quebecers vote against independence in the referendum, they say yes to Naya, which becomes Quebec\u2019s number one natural spring water brand. It is also an opportunity for the brand to establish its active, sports-focused positioning with a new slogan: \u201cRage de vivre, soif de Naya.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2012, things are moving at Naya. We introduce an innovative 600 mL format, unique to Naya, offering 20% more water with no additional plastic compared to a 500 mL bottle. The new bottle quickly becomes the most popular format in the Naya product line. At Naya, great ideas are always flowing!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSoif de vie\u201d becomes Naya\u2019s new brand signature. Through hydration, we promote a healthy lifestyle, reflecting Naya\u2019s commitment to helping people live healthier lives. This authentic message is built around four key values: hydration, healthy eating, regular physical activity and environmental protection. These values are expressed through four guiding principles: Drink for health, Eat well, Get outside and Protect the planet. Naya\u2019s new brand strategy puts consumers at the heart of the brand while highlighting values that are both universal and deeply personal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Naya is proud to support Op\u00e9ration Enfant Soleil with the launch of Naya Mini. For every case of 15 x 330 mL bottles sold, Naya donates $0.25 to Op\u00e9ration Enfant Soleil. With Naya Mini, giving back is easy because \u201clittle miracles don\u2019t happen alone.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2021 is a big year for Naya! We celebrate our 35th anniversary with special packaging featuring 35 bottles of 500 mL, including 5 free bottles. We also celebrate our fifth year of partnership with Op\u00e9ration Enfant Soleil. To mark the occasion, Naya donates $0.35 for every 6 x 1.5 L pack sold during spring 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As if that wasn\u2019t exciting enough, Naya becomes the OFFICIAL water of the Montreal Alouettes! The 750 mL sport format gets a fresh new look with a label featuring the colours of both Naya and the Alouettes. A new 6 x 750 mL pack featuring both brands also hits the market!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Naya\u2019s fresh, quality spring water is now available to an even wider audience, marking an important milestone in the brand\u2019s journey beyond Quebec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
