Certified Environmental Management

Our commitment to the environment is based on structured and measurable practices supported by ISO 14001 certification. This international standard requires us to implement a rigorous environmental management system covering all aspects of our operations, from production to resource management.

In practical terms, this means continuously identifying, monitoring, and reducing our environmental impacts while improving our processes year after year. This approach fosters a culture of continuous improvement, where every decision considers its environmental impact to ensure sustainable and responsible performance.

Low Water Usage Ratio

Naya stands out for its optimized water usage during production, with an average of 1.25 L of water used to produce 1 L of bottled water. At the same time, we strictly comply with the limits established in our water extraction permit.

This disciplined approach helps preserve the resource over the long term and reduces pressure on aquifers while maintaining stable and sustainable production.

97% of Plant Waste Is Recyclable

As part of our commitment to a circular economy, 97% of the waste generated by our facility is recyclable. All materials, including paper, cardboard, plastic, and glass, are carefully sorted directly on-site to maximize their recovery.

These materials are then managed by specialized waste management companies, ensuring their transformation or reuse in new production cycles. Our goal is clear: to move toward complete waste recovery and minimize landfill disposal by continuously adopting more efficient and responsible practices.

Employees Working Remotely

Workplace flexibility is also part of our eco-responsible approach. With approximately one out of two office employees working remotely, we significantly reduce daily commuting associated with work.

This organization directly contributes to reducing greenhouse gas emissions related to transportation, while also helping decrease road congestion and other associated environmental impacts.

Biodiversity Protection

Protecting biodiversity at our facility is a central pillar of our environmental commitments. In collaboration with Terrabois, we support sustainable forest management around the property through structured development plans that respect natural cycles and encourage ecosystem regeneration.

We also participate in responsible wildlife management, including beaver population control in partnership with Biotech, to help maintain the balance of local ecosystems.

Special attention is also given to wetlands, which are essential habitats for many species, including frogs and herons. Together, these initiatives help preserve biodiversity and strengthen ecosystem resilience over the long term.
